Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a current NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week assignment
- Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
- Blocked scheduling is not permitted
- Competency testing may be required prior to start with up to two attempts to pass
- More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination with makeup shifts required within six weeks
- Request for time off (RTO) must be made with the application
- Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
- Candidates may only apply to one position at a time
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI are required
- Epic EMR experience is required for all candidates
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required—Canadian SIN not accepted
- Flu vaccination required unless medically exempt with signed documentation
- Candidates who reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
