Compensation: $521,850 $823,584 annually + bonuses and benefits
Join a leading health system in southern New Jersey as the Chief of Gastroenterology. This is a high-impact leadership role to build and lead a new academic division of gastroenterology in partnership with a new medical school and established academic institutions. Live and work minutes from NYC, Philadelphia, and the Jersey Shore.
Position Highlights- Develop and lead a new academic GI division
- Recruit and mentor a multidisciplinary team of physicians, fellows, and staff
- Drive clinical excellence and research initiatives
- Expand advanced GI services including endoscopy
- Participate actively in clinical care, inpatient and outpatient
- Collaborate with system leadership on strategic growth
- Academic partnership with Drexel University
Requirements- MD/DO with Board Certification in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED)
- Active or eligible for New Jersey medical license
- Valid BLS, ACLS, DEA, and CSR/CDS (or willing to obtain)
- Not open to new graduates, APPs, locums, 1099 contracts, or visa sponsorship
- Prior leadership experience or program startup preferred
- History of malpractice or licensing issues may be considered
Compensation & Benefits- Highly competitive base salary: $521,850 $823,584
