The Burnsville Nissan Entry Level Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid replacements, tire and brake inspections, and pre-delivery inspections. This entry-level role requires physical stamina, reliability, and preferred experience or training in automotive maintenance. Compensation: $18.60/hour + incentives
What You’ll Do:
- Completes the following maintenance:
- Change oil and filter
- Replace air filters
- Fluid changes
- Tire inspection and repairs
- Bulbs
- Lubrication of the chassis, body, front end, and drive train
- Belt inspection and replacement
- Hose inspection, and the visual inspection of other parts on the vehicle
- Brake inspection, adjustment, and cleaning
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
- Other light maintenance
- Utilization of Truvideo/Estimate Tool
- Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments
- Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments

What You Bring:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Prior experience performing oil changes and/or automotive school or training strongly preferred
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be able to work well with a partner
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles strongly preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
