Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position with at least 1 year of recent experience and proficiency in OASIS and HCHB EMR.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting providing care to geriatric patients
• Covers up to a 60-mile radius from the central hub
• Average daily caseload of 5-7 patients
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, five 8-hour days per week
• No on-call requirements
• Documentation using HCHB EMR with prior experience required
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• iPad provided for documentation
• Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating geriatric patients in their homes
• Scrubs of any color required; jeans are not permitted
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates are accepted and paid at the travel rate

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience with OASIS and HCHB EMR required
• Must be flexible with territory coverage
