This position is for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Intensivist to work in a 10-bed PICU in Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region. The role involves clinical care, procedures, consultations, and managing critically ill pediatric patients within a collaborative and academically affiliated hospital setting. Seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Intensivist to join a collaborative and mission-driven team in the Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan.

Highlights:

This hospital-employed position offers a rewarding clinical role within a well-established pediatric program, featuring academic involvement and a flexible schedule
Join a cohesive team of Pediatric Intensivists supporting a 10-bed PICU
Work approximately 14 twelve-hour shifts per month, with flexible scheduling based on physician input and team collaboration
Responsibilities include PICU consults, admissions, procedures, and the management of critically ill pediatric patients
Subspecialty support includes Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Neurosurgery, and Pediatric Endocrinology
Supportive medical leadership and a hospital culture committed to quality, safety, and family-centered care
Academic affiliation with local University including opportunities to teach medical students and pediatric residents
Faculty appointment with expectations for participation in clinical education
