RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Work on combined Orthopedic and Medical-Surgical unit
• Orthopedic unit has 30 beds, Medical-Surgical unit has 37 beds
• Typical patient ratio of 6:1
• Utilizes PCTs and SNEs in tech roles with Unit Secretary during day shifts
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Full-time requires 4 weekend shifts per month (example: 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday)
• Monthly scheduling in 4-week increments
• Floating policy: Float to inpatient units for patient care, assist with tasks in CCU and ED
• All experience levels welcome to apply
• Required certification: BLS
• Must demonstrate positive attitude and willingness to work hard
• Manage patient load effectively using teamwork strategies
• Provide patient-centered care
• Some physicians perform bedside procedures
• Dress code: Scrub top and bottoms required, no fleece/hoodies/sweatshirts/sweaters, long sleeve shirts under scrub tops or scrub jackets permitted, no shoes with holes, no denim or camouflage
