ScheduleShift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with expected weekend hours and on-call requirements.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care to a variety of patients across different care settings, including NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, and adult acute and critical care. The role demands flexibility and a team-oriented attitude while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor patients for responses to therapy and adjust as necessary.
- Provide emergency treatment as required to maintain life support.
- Collaborate with medical staff to assess and recommend therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; NRP for NICU.
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Tertiary, teaching hospital experience preferred.
