The Senior Engineer – Finance & HR oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical financial applications to support the organization's operations and compliance needs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing system integrations, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and leading projects. The position requires strong technical expertise in financial software, cloud platforms, compliance standards, and project management.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for application configurations, integrations, and system workflows.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users, ensuring they are equipped to use the applications effectively.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, troubleshooting any challenges and answering questions related to the applications.
- Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on financial applications.
- Proven experience with financial systems, enterprise applications, and accounting software.
- Deep understanding of financial systems and applications, accounting software, financial reporting tools, and payment gateways.
- Expertise in cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and financial auditing processes.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to financial systems and applications.
- Familiarity with PRINCE 2 or other project management methodologies.
- Basic programming/scripting skills (Python/ JavaScript) for automation or troubleshooting.
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and re[porting tools to extract data from financial applications for analysis and reporting.

Unlike other healthcare plans, CEI is not a "fee-for-service" plan. It is a “capitation” healthcare plan.
