Our client, a prominent educational institution, is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join their team for the Spring semester. As a Food Service Worker, you will be an essential part of the dining services supporting student nourishment and campus operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Food Service Worker
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay Range: $17/hr.
Shift: Variety of shifts available
What's the Job?
- Prepare salads and sandwiches for college students
- Assist in kitchen duties such as washing dishes and stocking cups and plates
- Cook food to be served to students
- Fill all condiments and ensure cleanliness of tables
- Support overall dining operations to ensure a positive experience for students
What's Needed?
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and maintain good attendance
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekend and nights
- Previous food service experience helpful
