Job Description:
As a Per Diem ICU RN, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-focused care in the Intensive Care Unit. You’ll work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals, caring for critically ill patients and responding to life-threatening situations with confidence and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients in accordance with facility protocols
- Monitor vital signs, administer IVs and medications, manage ventilators and other life-support systems
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other nurses to implement effective care plans
- Accurately document patient status and care provided
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and state/federal regulations
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1–2 years recent ICU experience
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in new environments
