Position Details:(5B) is a 32-bed unit. This unit consists of various GYN surgical procedures, bariatric weight loss surgical procedures, colon resections and other minor colon surgeries, and general medical patients. Additional patients served include various GYN conditions, GYN/Oncology, Obstetrical Complications, Mother/Baby Couplets, post-partum Nurse to patient ratios is 1:5-6 and PCA to patient ratios 1:6-8. All staff work 12-hour shifts, 0630 to 1900 and 1830 to 0700, which includes alternating weekends and holidays.
