Locum Tenens - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Winamac, Indiana
Position Type: Locum Tenens

• Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Call: 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM, OR call every night

• Model: Independent CRNA practice (no Anesthesiologist on-site)

• Day Coverage: 1 provider on during the day

• OR: 1 operating room

• Case Types:

• General Surgery

• Orthopedics

• Ophthalmology

• Pain Management

• GYN

• Podiatry

• Heavy endoscopy volume

• Procedures Required:

• Spinals

• Blocks

• Epidurals

• Must be fully proficient

• Call Backs: Minimal - average 2.5 per month

• Additional Duties: Occasional call-ins for difficult intubations in the ER

• Turnover Time: 15 minutes

• EMR: Medaxion

• Required Documentation: Case logs demonstrating epidural, spinal, and block competency

  Credentialing

  • Timeline: 60-90 days

  • Temps: Available for candidates with a clean background, malpractice history, and active unrestricted license

  • Certifications: All BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP must be AHA - no exceptions

  • Licensure:

  • Indiana license preferred
