• Practice setting: high volume inpatient heart center
  
• Number of Operating Rooms: 30
  
• Schedule: variable- 8,10,12 hour shifts
• On call: The call rotation is 1:5 with first call every eighth night, no second call.
• Cases are primarily cardiac and vascular, there is no OB or trauma.
  
• Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries.
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: Cardiac Cases per day- 6-8 cases
• Open to H-1B visa candidates, but cannot accept J-1 waivers
• Not accepting Locums candidates

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Anesthesia - REQUIRED
  
• ECHO Board Certified and/or Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained (to be complete prior to start) - REQUIRED
• Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• NY License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (by time of start) - REQUIRED
