Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position requiring a NY RN license and recent Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a busy Emergency Department setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
- Blocked scheduling is not permitted
- Medical exemptions for flu vaccinations must be signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted
- More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make up shifts are mandatory and must be completed within 6 weeks
- Time off requests must be submitted with initial application
- No local candidates residing in specified counties within a 50-mile radius are eligible
- Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment
- May only apply to one position at a time
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Current certifications from AHA or RQI must be provided
- Prior Epic EMR experience required
- No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
