Assistant - Laboratory II

Opportunity to join a community-focused health system with patient-centered care. Laboratory Assistant II; full-time day/evening shifts in Florida; permanent role. Requires 6 months’ lab experience; phlebotomy certification preferred. - Six (6) months laboratory work experience - Basic knowledge of laboratory information systems - Phlebotomy certification preferred

Complexity of Work: This role requires the ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers, basic knowledge of laboratory information systems, requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision, and must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Six (6) months of work experience. Other Information: Certification in Phlebotomy is preferred.
