Job Details:
• Provide urgent care services as the sole provider in the center, treating both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
• Average of 20 patient encounters per shift with potential for up to 40 per day depending on location
• Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures
• Must be proficient with EPIC EMR system as it will be required for all visits
• Minimum of 12 months experience required - new graduates not considered
• Board certification required (MD/DO boards, NCCPA, or NP boards) along with BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary as you'll work closely with support staff and patients
• No call requirements
• Supervising physician provided for APPs (offsite)
• Must complete clinical interview, EMR training, and onboarding prior to first solo shift
• May be asked to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius of home residence
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 20 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
