The Service Technician I role at Securitas Technology Corporations involves installing, servicing, and maintaining electronic security systems such as intrusion alarms, fire alarms, access control, and CCTV at customer sites. Candidates need at least a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience with electronics and security systems, along with a valid driver’s license and an Oregon Active LEA License. STC is seeking technically minded individuals possessing experience with low voltage electronics specializing in electronic security solutions. Our teams are responsible for providing service on STC products at customer sites. The position provides customer contact for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed.
Here are the minimum qualifications you will need
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems with a basic understanding of electronics, wiring, local and national codes
- Valid state driver’s license without restrictions
- State of OR Active LEA License
It would be awesome if you had these qualifications, but they aren’t required:
- Vocational/technical degree in electrical, security, or computer systems
- Bosch, DMP, Edwards/EST, Honeywell, Radionics, Simplex and/or GE/Mirtone system, Genetec and Software House (C-Cure) knowledge
- IT/Networking Certification or ESA Certified Alarm Technician
