MS RN - Nights -
NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start: 1/12 - Bi-weekly orientation
Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)
Primary location: Midtown
Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7
Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.
On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.
Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS and NIHSS.
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 2 years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.
Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
Patient Population: Med/Surg. population - post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, CHF
Skillset: Remote tele, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight cath/Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood/blood product administration, tracheostomy are, PCA management. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates
Unit Information: 41 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:6-7
Unit Strengths: Experienced leadership, CNA support.
Scrubs - No competing health systems or agency logos

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
