Unit: IMCU
Shift: 6:30a-7p (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
Floating Required: Yes
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Unit Specifics: Common Diagnosis - Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Resp: COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post op. Specialty Equipment-Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A lines, Bipap, Neptune Vapo
Vents: Yes-chronic vents -unable to wean- RT to assist
Patient Demographics: 18 years - Adults
Number of Beds in the Unit: 64 beds / 15 designated Neuro beds

Common diagnoses: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory (COPD), DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-op

Specialty equipment: Temp pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune VAPO

Ventilator patients: Chronic vents (unable to wean; RT to assist)

Patient population: Adults (18+)

Beds: 64 total, 15 designated Neuro
