Overview:

Brightview Senior Living is currently hiring a customer service focused, team builder, and detail oriented individual for the role of Business Office Director at our community in Arlington, MA!

 

At Brightview Senior Living, the Business Office Director serves as the engine that keeps our community running effectively by providing the clerical, bookkeeping, budgeting, financial reporting, human resources and accounting support to our leadership team, and to our associates and residents who call the community their home.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

As the Business Office Director, you will work closely with the Executive Director to create an efficient operation by assisting with the following:

• Recruitment and selection of associates.
• Serving as the community's HR representative. 
• Leading new associate orientation. 
• Supervising a team of Concierge associates.  
• Building relationships with our residents and their families as they navigate senior living. 
• Setting up and maintaining all resident and employee files in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Setting up and maintaining all vendor files and communications.
• Maintaining accounts receivable and billing operations.
• Processing purchase orders. 
• Providing support to each department in meeting their operating budget goals for the year.

 

 

Salary Range: USD $65,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Hr.

Compensation Disclosure:

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in business, accounting or a related discipline and a minimum of two years’ experience in bookkeeping or office management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or a related discipline strongly preferred.

• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly master new applications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
• Excellent verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with associates at all levels and a wide range of business partners.
• Strong customer orientation to older adults.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
