Job Details:
• Work varied schedule with weekend and holiday rotation requirements
• Possible float to support other units as needed
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Review patient history, diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all nursing interventions, assessments and patient responses in medical records
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans based on patient response to treatment
• Delegate appropriately and provide supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
