American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of OR and C-arm experience and ARRT & BLS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a diagnostic radiology setting utilizing GE machines
- Responsibilities include assisting with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures
- Shifts are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with call and holiday rotations
- OR experience and proficiency with C-arm are required
- Fluoro experience and ability to work independently are essential
- Local candidates are accepted with a reduced rate
- 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
- Pass/fail EKG testing required on the first day, with two attempts allowed and study guides provided
- Daily duties include obtaining patient clinical history, applying radiation protection principles, positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, and documenting pre and post procedure information
- Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures using aseptic techniques as needed
- Professionalism, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills are expected
- Current ARRT certification and registration required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology technology
- OR and C-arm experience required
- Fluoroscopy experience required
- Ability to work independently
- License required if applicable
