About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Urgent Care & Family Medicine clinic. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, focusing primarily on family medicine while also managing urgent care cases. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in both family medicine and urgent care settings.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, lab work, and EKGs.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for patients across the lifespan.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently using the EMR system (eCW).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (Family Nurse Practitioner preferred).
- Graduate of an accredited NP program.
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
