We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our collaborative, high-performing NICU team. Our unit manages a high-acuity, Level III/IV NICU with a dynamic patient population and a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary care.
This position follows a 6-week rotating schedule, primarily consisting of 24-hour shifts, with one week of 12-hour flex day shifts. We also welcome candidates interested in a 24-hour shift-only schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend high-risk and routine deliveries
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of neonates
- Independently formulate and implement daily care plans
- Write H&Ps, daily progress notes, and delivery documentation
- Perform credentialed neonatal procedures (as applicable)
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, fellow APPs, nursing staff, and ancillary services
- Communicate daily updates and care plans to families
Qualifications
Required:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- Strong NICU clinical and assessment skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a Level III or IV NICU
- Willingness to mentor or train new graduate NNPs
