Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – Medical/Surgical specialty
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement)
• Successful background check and employment verification
• Skills checklist and competency exam completion
• Valid Driver's License or State ID

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
