Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Neurosurgeon nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work locum shifts in Rockford Illinois (IL). Starting in October 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Neurosurgery role:
- Coverage Need Details: Looking for a NP/PA covering inpatient neurology .
- Shifts are M-F 7a-7p
- 1 weekend per month
- Locum provider will be working with the neuro interventional doctors over the comprehensive stroke program.
- 14 shifts a month.
- Will Candidate Work Solo?: No
- On Call?: No
- Adult Percentage: 100.00
Requirements of the Neurosurgery role:
- IL state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified or Board Eligible
- Certifications- BLS or ACLS
- CSR License Required
- 1 year of NP/PA experience minimum
- Active or transferable DEA
Travel and Compensation:
- Lodging: Airfare, Lodging; Rental Car
- Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc.)
- Malpractice insurance provided
