Practice Setting
- Hospital-based, no outpatient responsibilities
- System-wide call coverage with 24/7 anesthesia support
- Support from 3 IR physicians and hospital staff
- Epic EMR in use
Schedule
- Minimum 7-day monthly commitment
- 1 week on, 1 week off; perfect for longer stretches off
- Orientation required before first shift
Cases and Procedures
- Bread and butter GI; 4-8 consults/rounds daily
- ERCP and EUS preferred, not required
- No elective or clinic procedures
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (within 5 years)
- Active Michigan license or IMLC
- Must provide recent case logs
Travel Accommodations
- Airfare, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
- Preference for physicians based in or near Michigan
