Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner - 1st Shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner- 1st Shift, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Maintenance Scheduler/Planner - 1st Shift

Location: Harrisonburg, VA

Pay Range: $35

Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Coordinate and plan all maintenance work to optimize workforce productivity and work quality.
• Review and process work orders from various departments, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Develop detailed maintenance schedules, considering manpower, materials, and safety priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Maintain records, analyze work performance, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

What's Needed?

• Experience in maintenance planning or scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with personal computers and relational databases.
