Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first timers accepted)
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 across all shifts
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Floating to other units required
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off
• No holiday RTO will be approved
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIH stroke scale preferred)
• Epic charting system experience required (also uses Pyxis and SBAR)
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above)
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population on telemetry unit
• Manage patients with CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Must be able to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Clinical screening required to determine clinical fit before manager review

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 36-bed telemetry unit with an average daily census of 35 patients. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac monitoring and care with access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern equipment including Sara Steady and other lift equipment to ensure safe patient handling.
