Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a PA or compact license and required certifications for a rotating shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position based in a hospital Emergency Department
- Shifts rotate between 7:00-19:30, 11:00-23:30, and 19:00-7:30
- Every other weekend is required
- Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
- No floating to other units is required
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Emergency Department RNs provide care for acute medical and trauma cases
- Rotating shift schedule is typically adjusted every 4-6 weeks
- Detailed instructions for fingerprinting, clearances, and credentialing will be provided after contract signing
Requirements
- Active PA or compact RN license in hand
- Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required
- Trauma experience is preferred
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
- Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline clearances
- Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
