We are partnering with Geisinger to recruit a System Chief of Cardiovascular Imaging, a newly established leadership role created to advance and unify imaging services across three regions. Reporting to the System Chief of Cardiology, this physician leader will oversee regional imaging chiefs and play a pivotal role in elevating clinical quality, research, and education systemwide.

System Highlights

- 12 Cardiothoracic Surgeons
- 12 Vascular Surgeons
- 82 Advanced Practice Providers

Role Overview

- Roughly 50-60% clinical responsibilities, with protected time for administrative leadership and research
- Provide strategic leadership for cardiovascular imaging, including innovation, program development, and academic advancement
- Partner with nationally recognized specialists to strengthen and expand imaging capabilities across the system

Candidate Profile

- Board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Echocardiography
- Active or able to obtain a Pennsylvania medical licensure
- Demonstrated leadership in cardiovascular imaging (Level III preferred) including Structural TEE
- Documented experience in administration, research, and teaching
- Additional training in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT/MRI, or an advanced degree in research, statistics, or public health preferred
