Job Description
A Coachella based clinic is searching for a Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about improving individual and community health. An ideal candidate has experience in outpatient primary care in a community health center.
Required Qualifications
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from either the ANCC or AANP
- Current DEA licensure
- Active CPR Certification
- 1-2 years of NP experience (preferred)
- Experience conducting Annual Wellness Visits
- Spanish (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provides quality care to patients of, within the scope of practice outlined by state or federal law and understands the organizations commitment to provide high quality patient care.
- Must be capable of meeting 80% or more of the established productivity standards.
- Participates in after hour call as scheduled.
- Maintains a program of comprehensive health for the family unit, to include preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health.
- Performs physical examinations and/or preventive health measures to assess and evaluate patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Refers patient to other available services/specialist to meet needs where appropriate.
