The role involves managing dialysis treatments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching-focused environment. Candidates must hold an active Ohio medical license, relevant certifications, and have at least three years of pediatric nephrology experience.
Pediatric Nephrology Opportunity Academic Children s Hospital Ohio We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nephrology Physician for a 13-week locum tenens engagement near Wooster, Ohio. This role is based within a prestigious academic children s hospital, offering the opportunity to manage complex cases in a collaborative, teaching-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Provide expert inpatient and outpatient pediatric nephrology consultations. Manage acute and chronic kidney disease, as well as pediatric hypertension. Oversee dialysis treatments, including peritoneal and/or hemodialysis. Partner with a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care. Required Qualifications Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology. Licensure: Active Ohio Medical License and Ohio CSR (IMLC candidates welcome). Certifications: Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA are mandatory. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in pediatric nephrology. Experience in academic/teaching hospitals or Level I/II Trauma centers is highly advantageous. Documentation: Must provide a recent NPDB Self-Query.
