What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during patrols.
- Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or law enforcement as needed, providing information and assistance as appropriate.
- Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for armed personnel, including the proper handling and securing of firearms at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
