Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Join a dynamic Anesthesia Services Team in the heart of Grand Rapids, Michigan. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a facility designated as a Level 2 trauma center, featuring 16 operating rooms, 4 endoscopy suites, and a wide variety of complex and general cases. Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in shared home-call obligations approximately once a quarter for weekends and once every six weeks for weekdays.
- Handle a diverse mix of cases, including kidney transplants, thoracic, orthopedic, bariatric, podiatry, GYN, neuro, heart and vascular, and regional blocks.
- Work a flexible schedule with a mix of 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24-hour shifts.
- Provide anesthetic care in a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Contribute to both general and complex surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current Board Certification by NBCRNA.
- State of Michigan license or willingness to obtain.
- Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified NBCRNA (by time of start) - REQUIRED
- Michigan State License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA verbal confirmation (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- ACLS & BLS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
