Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in both CT and X-ray imaging, holding current KS state licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital setting within the CT and X-ray technology unit
- Responsibilities include both CT and X-ray procedures
- Flexible day shifts scheduled as 5x8s from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call responsibilities with rotating day and evening shifts
- Weekend on-call rotation and some holiday coverage required
- May float to other units in accordance with clinical experience and facility policy
- Uses CPSI EMR; experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to perform both CT and X-ray imaging procedures
- Orientation to new units will be provided if floating is needed
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Expect to work some holidays in rotation with staff
- No restrictions for first-time travelers
- Requested time off must be approved prior to starting assignment
Requirements
- Valid KS state license required if applicable
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
- At least 1 year of experience in CT and X-ray technology
- Previous travel experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to participate in on-call and rotating weekend shifts
