Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night position requiring a MD or compact RN license and BLS/NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00–07:30
- Patient population includes admissions from the emergency department who meet admission criteria
- Every other weekend work is required
- Candidates must provide care for patients admitted from the ED
- Locals and first-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Four hours of annual continuing education units (CEUs) required
