This Radiology Nurse Practitioner position involves providing care in interventional radiology within both outpatient and inpatient settings, collaborating closely with board-certified radiologists. The role requires conducting hospital rounds, managing consultations, and developing patient treatment plans while utilizing advanced medical technologies such as EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the position offers a flexible Monday-Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties, along with competitive benefits including health insurance and CME allowance.
Growing radiology group in the popular Charlotte, North Carolina area is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join their expanding practice! Ideal candidates will have experience in interventional radiology, critical care, or a surgical subspecialty and must be comfortable seeing patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
This group has a great history of training and is focused on finding candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and passionate about interventional radiology.

Responsibilities:
- Full-time position - Interventional Radiology
- Monday-Friday schedule (flexible hours, can be less than full-time)
- No weekends, no nights, no on-call duties, no holidays
- Collaborate with a fantastic team of board-certified radiologists and advanced practice providers
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient duties
- See patients in hospital setting and diagnostic imaging centers
- Manage IR inpatient and outpatient consultations and clinic visits
- Conduct hospital rounds for post-procedure IR patients
- Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
- Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
Qualifications:
- North Carolina Nurse Practitioner License
- North Carolina Physician Assistant License
- DEA License
- Current BLS
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS (preferred)
