American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient position working with orthopedic, neurologic, and acute care patients in a regional hospital; 2 years of experience and MN OT license required.
Responsibilities- Outpatient rehabilitation setting within a regional hospital
- Treats primarily outpatient orthopedic and neurologic patients, with approximately 30% acute care responsibilities
- Day shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Will float within scope to meet facility needs or at affiliate hospitals as needed
- Team consists of 7 Physical Therapists and 1 Speech-Language Pathologist
- Hand therapy support included but is less emphasized than other areas
- Epic (Excellian) EMR is used; prior experience with Epic is required
- Facility staffed with 56 beds
- Block scheduling is open for accommodation
- Responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload across outpatient ortho, neuro, and acute care patients
- Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including PTs and SLP
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Return employees must have a minimum 3-month gap since their last shift to be eligible
- Scrub color will be confirmed prior to start
- Free parking available in designated lot
- Time off requests ideally should not exceed 5 days
- Active MN Occupational Therapist license required; pending license accepted if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Occupational Therapy experience
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic, neurologic, and acute care settings preferred
- At least one supervisor reference required for consideration
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
