Position Highlights
- Outpatient only - No inpatient or call responsibilities
- Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Practice at one location within the doctor's building
- In-house lab and radiology services for efficient diagnostics
- Dedicated Endocrinology RN for personalized clinical support
- Teaching opportunities with DO medical students and internal medicine residents
- High regional demand ensures consistent patient volume
Practice Environment
- 420-bed tertiary referral center and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) campus
- Regional catchment area of 450,000+ across AL, GA, and FL
- Advanced imaging: PET, 3T MRI, 64-slice CT, interventional radiology
- Full spectrum of specialist support including neurosurgery, EP cardiology, and pain management
- EMR: Cerner (hospital) and Athena (clinic)
- Accredited Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residency programs
