- Work with MD to; diagnostic, order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures, develop therapeutic plans for patients, administers injections, immunizations, and oral medications, sutures wounds, prepares written prescription orders for drugs and controlled substances, instruct patients and family regarding medications and treatment instructions
