This locum tenens position is for a board-certified Gastroenterology and Hepatology physician in Virginia, requiring coverage for gastrointestinal emergencies and advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. The role involves working at a Level I and Level III facility with 466 beds, maintaining an active in-state DEA license and meeting vaccination requirements. The physician must provide clinical care including specialized endoscopic procedures and emergency coverage during the assigned period.
Coverage Needed: Sept :00 pm " Oct :00 am Clinical Information: Locums Gastrointestinal Call to include Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography (ERCP) procedures as needed Site 466 beds, Level I Site beds, Level III Required: Board Certification DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active Current Flu Vaccine Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility. Must be able to cover GI emergencies including ERCP procedures as needed REQUIRED ERCP, EUS cases also
