Position Summary:
A Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center in Albany, NY is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week night assignment. Under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures and assists with patient care in a fast-paced environment. The technologist supports both clinical and teaching operations, performing exams on inpatients, outpatients, research patients, and those requiring specialized MRI-guided procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans safely and accurately for a wide range of patients including trauma, ER, ICU, and outpatient populations

• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures

• Assist in clinical evaluation of patients as appropriate

• Maintain quality control, equipment calibration, and proper documentation

• Support teaching and continuing education within the department

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience

• ARRT Certification

• NYSDOH License

• Travel experience preferred
