Position OverviewA Graduate Medical Education department in Ohio is seeking two full-time, academically focused OB/GYN Hospitaliststo provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across multiple hospital sites. This role has a strong emphasis on resident education, high-risk pregnancy management, and team-based obstetrical care.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide in-house OB/GYN hospitalist coverage across three campuses (one per shift).
Supervise and staff residents on Labor & Delivery, ensuring quality, timely care.
Manage high-risk pregnancies and perform advanced obstetrical procedures.
Perform gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomy, and manage clinic patients.
Teach and mentor residents in both clinical and didactic settings.
Collaborate with GME leadership to enhance curriculum and training quality.
Participate in emergency OB care and respond to obstetrical complications.
Work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holiday rotations.
Contribute to system-wide initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Engage with the community and support delivery of care to underserved populations.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Eligible for an Ohio medical license (or willing to obtain).
DEA certification (or ability to obtain).
Clean malpractice and licensure history.
Willing to rotate between all three assigned hospital sites.
Must not require visa sponsorship (no J-1 or H-1B).
Demonstrated interest in resident education, team-based OB care, and high-risk obstetrics.
Not open to locums, 1099, or candidates needing to re-obtain board certification.
