Senior Surgical Technician - Main Surgery General at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

The Surgery Technician employs intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills to perform scrubbing responsibilities and assists the Surgeon during surgical intervention on patients of various ages.

Required Qualifications:

• Proof of Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program NCST or NCCT
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 2 years of Hospital based Surgical Technologist experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a major service area.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
