We are seeking motivated and highly qualified Locum Physicians to provide essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across New Hampshire. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Veterans while enjoying a flexible schedule tailored to your availability.
In this role, you will conduct interview-based assessments primarily, with some physical testing, to assist Veterans in their benefit claims process. You will be part of a committed team supporting veterans' health evaluations, working on a PRN basis, with the flexibility to choose days that fit your schedule, including half-day or full-day shifts.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in the state of New Hampshire
- Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
- Experience with compensation and pension exams preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform interview-based assessments and basic physical examinations
- Attention to detail and ability to complete reports accurately and efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience conducting veterans' medical assessments
- Familiarity with VA or military health systems
- Certification in relevant medical specialties is advantageous
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in general medicine or related fields
- Prior experience with compensation and pension evaluations is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Own office space within a 50-mile radius of specified locations
- Willingness to travel locally as needed
- Ability to complete quick credentialing and onboarding processes
- No prescribing or treatment involved; assessments are interview-based with some physical testing
- Local candidates only; travel costs are included in the rates
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $624.00, with daily or half-day flat rates depending on your chosen shift length, and includes a one-time bonus of $650 upon completion of all training and first exams.
