Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, covering inpatient, outpatient, OR procedures, consultations, and rounding. Call Requirements: On-call duties required from Friday evening to the following Friday evening. Prompt response times needed during business hours (30 minutes). Patient Volume: Manage approximately 11-13 patients per shift, with 1-4 admissions during on-call hours. Practice Setting: A blend of inpatient and outpatient services. Technology: Facility utilizes the Epic EMR system. Qualifications Board Certification: Required in Gastroenterology. Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license required. Certifications: ACLS and BLS are mandatory. Skills & Procedures: Expertise in the following is highly preferred: Upper and lower GI endoscopy Biopsies and polyp removal ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic techniques Esophageal and small bowel procedures Colonoscopy with advanced interventions Additional Details Trauma Level: Non-trauma facility.
