This medical center is a Level 1 trauma facility offering comprehensive women's health services to the community. The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records system and provides full office staff and specialized delivery staff in the hospital to ensure excellent patient care and efficient operations.

Job Details:
• 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a), including up to 4 hours daily rounding • Remote call support with on-site response as needed • Coverage dates: December 24-29, January 20, 22, March 17, April 22 • Respond to calls regarding patients with prior cesarean in labor attempting vaginal delivery • Round on cesarean patients and antepartum patients when MFM is not on call • Respond to calls from Midwives (CNM), Emergency Department, or consulting physicians • Handle maternal transports from outside facilities • Perform circumcisions and tubal ligations • Conduct C-section deliveries and operative vaginal deliveries • Perform OB/GYN surgical procedures • Average on-site time generally not exceeding six hours per call • Work with a team including one Midwife, one OB/GYN, and one MFM • Must be skilled in low and high risk pregnancies • Capable of FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) • Proficient in OB ultrasound performance and interpretation • Experience with amniocentesis procedures • Able to manage both routine and complicated deliveries • Skilled in both open and laparoscopic gynecological procedures • Must maintain active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC • ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required • Credentialing timeframe approximately 10 days
