Job Title: RN Behavioral Health - Evenings
Location: Waco, TX
Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 12:00 PM • 10:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks, possible extension
Hours: 40 per week (4 x 10•hour shifts)
Orientation: 2 weeks
Floating: Agency nurses float first
Requirements:
• Active Texas RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• 2+ years direct care nursing experience
• Experience in psychiatric settings or nursing homes preferred
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medication administration
Responsibilities:
• Provide care for individuals with emotional/behavioral issues
• Collaborate with healthcare team
• Maintain accurate records
• Adhere to facility policies
Additional:
• Complete HHSC immunization, fingerprinting, drug screen, and background checks
• CPR, Heimlich, and TIPS proficiency
