- Charting System: EPIC experience required
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Scheduling Requests (RTO/Blocks): Must be submitted at time of submission
- Call-Off Policy: Client may cancel up to three shifts during a 13-week contract without charge
- Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Local Candidate Policy:
- RNs within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
- Local candidates accepted for LPN roles only
- Active New York RN License (Single State; NY is not a compact state)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)
- IV therapy, including blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, and IV initiation/maintenance
- IV vasopressor administration
- CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management
- Stroke (CVA), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) care
- Cardiac monitoring, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Emergency care for adult and pediatric patients, including gunshot wounds and orthopedic trauma
- Isolation precautions and triage
- Pediatric spinal cord injury experience
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients with emergency diagnoses
- Special Equipment: Bair Hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient-handling equipment
- Floating: Required within scope of competency
- Scrub Color: Navy blue and white (any combination)
